A large part of my work involves gas boilers, including servicing, repairs and replacement, together with central heating and Landlord Gas Safety checks. I undertake the domestic gas work covered by my current Gas Safe qualifications and I’m always happy to show you my Gas Safe ID card.

But I’m not just here for boilers. I also undertake a wide variety of general plumbing jobs, including replacing hot water cylinders, installing electric showers, repairing leaking pipes, replacing pumps and making alterations to existing plumbing and heating systems. If you’re not sure whether your particular job is something I do, just ask.

I believe that how a plumber works in your home is almost as important as the finished job. I do my best to keep disruption to a minimum, protect the area where I’m working and leave things clean and tidy when I’ve finished. I use dust sheets where appropriate and take care not to bring dirt through your home.

I also believe that when you’re paying someone by the hour, you should be paying them to work! I don’t believe in taking unnecessary breaks or spending your time making personal phone calls. I’m there to get on with the job, do it properly and cause you as little inconvenience as possible.

Before employing anyone to carry out gas work, you should check that they are Gas Safe registered and qualified for the particular type of work involved. I’m quite happy for customers to check my Gas Safe ID card. It’s also perfectly reasonable to ask any tradesperson working in your home whether they have appropriate Public Liability Insurance.

I don’t charge a call-out fee. If you have a plumbing or heating problem, I’m also happy to give you some initial advice before arranging a visit. Tell me what’s wrong and, where possible, I’ll give you an idea of what may be involved, what it is likely to cost and when I can get to you.
